The AWCS Community includes writing groups, writer roundtables, and more. These community drop-in programs offer flexible and accessible opportunities for writers to engage with our community, develop their craft, and find inspiration. These programs are designed to accommodate writers with busy schedules or those looking for a more casual way to explore their creativity.
WRITE-INSDedicated time and space for writers to work on their projects together. Typically held in person or online, write-ins offer a supportive environment where writers can focus on their writing goals.
ABlIT BOOK CLUBWe celebrate Alberta authors whether they were born here or have moved here. Membership in the club is free and it's a great opportunity to discuss books from a writer's point of view.

many voices contestThe Many Voices Monthly Writing Contest showcases the wonderful talent within our member community. All members are invited to submit to our monthly writing contest. The winning entry will be published in the Member Connections newsletter.
