Start your story.

Hone your craft.

It’s been a long 6 months.

While the COVID cases in Alberta remain steady, AWCS is happy to announce that beginning OCTOBER 5, we will reopen our centre to members who need a change of scenery to write or anyone who wants to come in and register for a class, with some restrictions.

We will not be accepting drop-in traffic. If you wish to come and write you must book an appointment as we must limit the number of people in the facility at any one time.

Masks are mandatory throughout the public areas at cSpace, however, within AWCS they are recommended, but not mandatory unless physical distancing is not possible. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building and in our space for your convenience. Masks are also available should you need one.

Open hours will be limited to 10am-2pm Monday to Friday.

All our classes and programs will remain online until the New Year. Visit the Courses and Workshops page for current offerings.

We look forward to seeing you.

If you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID (fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat), have been around someone with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID, been out of the country in the last 14 days, or are at increased personal risk, please stay home. While masks are not mandatory within AWCS, please be kind and respect those in your immediate vicinity. We all need to do our part to protect each other.

We are located on the 4th Floor of cSpace King Edward in Marda Loop.

460, 1721, 29th Ave SW

Calgary, AB

Unless otherwise specified, all courses, workshops and programming takes place onsite.
