ONLINE Write a Screenplay in a Month
4 weeks, Tuesdays | Begins August 6 | 7pm-9pm MT
Instructor: Bryce Raffle
MEMBER PRICE: $150.00
NON-MEMBER PRICE: $200.00
Do you dream of writing a screenplay but struggle to find the time or the right approach? This 4-week online course is designed to help you draft a compelling screenplay quickly without compromising on quality. With a little guidance and a great outline, students will have no trouble staying motivated and on track and reaching their writing goals by the end of the course.
Learn from the experience of industry insider Bryce Raffle, whose credits include nearly 40 films & tv shows, including Peter Pan & Wendy, Fire Country, Twilight Zone, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Bryce's horror-comedy screenplay Christmas Feast was written in just 10 days (not including the outline). This screenplay went on to become a quarterfinalist in several prestigious competitions, including the ScreenCraft Horror Competition 2024, proving that speed doesn't have to come at the expense of quality.
This is an interactive online class using the Zoom web platform.
Bryce Raffle was the lead writer for Ironclad Games’ Sins of a Dark Age, an online multiplayer fantasy game, as well as writing for Mech Armada (Lioncode Games). His short stories have been published in a number of anthologies and literary magazines (Den of Antiquity, Southern Steam, Taught by Time; Myth Goes Punk, Hideous Progeny: Classic Horror Goes Punk, Selene Quarterly Magazine), and have won awards such as the Preditors & Editors Readers’ Poll award for best steampunk short story in 2016. He was the editor of DeadSteam and DeadSteam II, and is the co-author of the children’s books The Littlest Dinosaur and The Littlest Dinosaur Finds A Home. He was a Scrivener panelist at the Creative Ink Festival in Vancouver alongside fellow Scrivener enthusiast Kelley Armstrong.
