DISCORD - Novelmancers Write In

RECOMMENDED Ages 13+

This private Discord group is open to youth writers who want to meet other like-minded individuals and carve out some writing time with friends. We listen to chill tunes, text chat, get prompts (if you are stuck), and win virtual prizes that don't mean anything.

THE OFFICIAL WRITE-INS are on the first and third TUESDAYS of the month - year-round - 7-8:30 PM (Mountain Time)*

*However, youth can use the server anytime they want to meet up online to write together, do word sprints, or just get their work critiqued or read.

The Novelmancer Discord also comes with a library of handy articles on different aspects of writing to help youth improve their skills and special channels for events such as National Novel Writing Month, as well as community news.

This group is monitored by various admins. Youths 13 and up can join on their own. Youths under 13 need a guardian to create an account for the youth to use.

We expect friendly and community-minded behavior from all users. If a user is in violation of our posted rules of the server, they will be warned, timed out, kicked out for a period of time, or banned depending on the details of the transgression.

Register and we will send you the login details.

Please contact Kim Firmston (youth program director) if you have any questions as they would be happy to help - kfirmston@alexandrawriters.org
