Each session focuses on a key aspect of dialogue, including integrating it with action, building tension through subtext, and creating distinct voices for your characters.

This class takes place in person at the Alexandra Writers’ Centre in Calgary.
Ken Cameron is a playwright with over 15 works produced across Canada, including the critically acclaimed Harvest and Dear Johnny Deere (both published by NeWest Press) and brings a wealth of experience in crafting dialogue that drives action, develops character, and connects emotionally with audiences.
His interactive teaching style, informed by extensive experience in storytelling and dialogue, inspires students to develop their unique voices and master the art of conversation on the page.
