Write the Play. Make the Props. Rehearse your Creation. AND put the whole thing on the Calgary Fringe Stage at the Calgary Fringe Festival!

Not only will campers learn how to write a script using characterization, plot arc, and building tension, they’ll also learn to edit, act, audition, build props and set, design costumes, and create posters for the play! Additionally, this camp builds self-esteem, cooperation, and collaborative skills.

Some of our campers have gone on to professional work in theatre, TV, and film. But more than that, they will have the best summer experience of their lives and make friends along the way!

SEE THE PLAY! Come to Festival Hall August 1st. All are welcome – and the price of admission is only $2! Doors at 12:45. Show at 1:00 PM.

A co-operative project by the Alexandra Writers Centre and the Calgary Fringe.
