Students will learn about conflict, exposition, dramatic arc, world building and how to use literary devices in creative writing. This is a class for beginners who are setting out on their creative writing journey as well as writers wishing to refresh their skills.

This class takes place at the Alexandra Writers Centre Society (AWCS).

Leesa JoAnn Iverson writes to broaden perspective, create conversation, and foster compassion for ourselves and others. Leesa has a Visual Communication Design diploma. She belongs to the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), the Leighton Art Center (LAT), and the Writers’ Guild of Alberta (WGA). Leesa credits the Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society (AWCS) with launching her writing odyssey. Leesa’s third Illustrated Picture book will soon be published while the artistry and edits continue for her debut middle-grade novel. leesajoanniverson.com
