The key to a successful pitch is knowing how to sell yourself. Whether you’re looking for an agent, or submitting directly to publishers, a query package must have a stunning query letter, a compelling synopsis, and a snappy logline. In this class, we’ll go over the various avenues to submit your novels or short story collections including how to write the query package, following submission guidelines, and what to do when you haven’t heard back. Come prepared to write and workshop query letters and synopses of a completed novel.
This class takes place online using Zoom.
