Early Bird Pricing: $75 (until August 31, 2024)
2024 Pricing: $100 (until December 31, 2024)
2025 Pricing: $125 (until tickets are sold out, or August 15, 2025)

Saturday Night Showcase - 80's Dance Party - $80
Join us for a nostalgic evening of all things 80's. Costumes, DJ, dancing, cocktails, food and trivia. 80's apparel recommended. Prizes for best-dressed.

Refund Policy
Festival Weekend Passes, Saturday Night Showcase Tickets, and Master Class Passes are refundable. Unable to attend, full refunds will be granted until January 31, 2025. 50% refunds after January 31, 2025 and before August 1, 2025. Sorry, no refunds after August 1, 2025.
Subsidies
Subsidies are available through the J. Michael Fay Subsidy Program. Let us know how we can help.
Children under the age of 8 need not register, but must be accompanied by a registered adult at all times. Children who are running loose may be asked to leave the festival.
Parents bringing children to the festival must provide the children`s proof of age when picking up their registration package at the festival. The child’s age as of August 9, 2025 is used to determine the type of pass they will need.
Volunteers
We love our volunteers. Volunteer for all or part of the festival and get some great perks.
All volunteers receive a t-shirt and token of appreciation and a meal voucher per shift/day. For shifts of up to 4 hours volunteers will receive a free ticket to a masterclass. For shifts of up to 8 hours, receive free admission to the festival.
Communications
Emails and digital newsletters are the primary means of communication with conference attendees. By registering for When Words Collide, you agree to receive conference-related updates and information via email and digital newsletters. We send these thoughtfully and with respect for your time and attention.

Presenters/Panelist
New for 2025, all presenters will receive a festival pass and an honourarium. Applications for presenters/panelists will open in early 2025. More details to come.
Featured Authors and Special Guests are selected and invited by the planning committee by recommendation from attendees, agents, publishers and individuals.
