Reconnect with the art of storytelling as a catalyst for personal growth, connection, and inspiration in your own life. Spoken word poet Miranda Krogstad reflects on her art form, and how it carries into many parts of life where people seek to have their voice -- flawed as it often may be in an idea's early stages -- heard amid the hustle and bustle. Along the way, she shares the magic of her poems Stardust, an Ode to Pasta, and Imperfect. Spoken word poet meets eternal optimist: Miranda's poetry ranges in topic from child's play to empowerment, giving life's obstacles a feel-good finish.
This program takes place in person at the Alexandra Writers’ Centre (AWCS), on the 4th floor of cSpace Marda Loop (map).
