Have you ever wondered if applying for a writing grant is for you? Join Alberta Foundation for the Arts (AFA) literary consultant Brenda Hennig for this online grant writing presentation.

We’ll review how to prepare your project description, budget, and writing sample, plus highlight those finer points that can make the difference between a successful and unsuccessful application.

Next deadline to submit your AFA application for a literary grant is 1 March 2024.

This is an interactive online class using the Zoom web platform.

Brenda Hennig has been involved with grants from both sides as an applicant and assessor for over twenty years in the arts. In cultural industries she worked for a television production company writing, directing, and producing documentaries for broadcast. She has also worked for a heritage non-profit organization and an academic press. She has been with the AFA for ten years and manages grants for individuals and organizations.
