The artificial intelligence future is here and this workshop will help you understand what it is, what it's being used for and the implications and ethics of this technology. Learn what the future may hold and what influence writers have in it. Some of the questions that will be explored are:
- What is an AI language tool and how does it work?
- How are AI language tools currently being used by the general public and creative writers?
- What are some of the pitfalls, dangers and ethical complexities of AI?
- Sampling a few exercises to use AI to boost creativity while maintaining integrity and authenticity.
This class takes place in person at the Alexandra Writers’ Centre in Calgary.
