ONLINE Writing Book Reviews

Book reviews provide a description and evaluation of a book through a summary of the plot, an assessment of its value, along with a recommendation (or not). Book reviews also really help promote the work of fellow writers, which is pretty awesome (writing can be rather demoralizing at times, can it not?). And you can get paid to write them!
This workshop is perfect for those of you who enjoy dissecting a piece of writing and getting down into the nitty gritty of what makes a story tick. In this two-part workshop, participants will have the opportunity to apply their learning through writing their own short book review and receive peer feedback. Join writer and educator Ashley Holloway in this fun and engaging two-part workshop to help you learn the art of writing a good book review.
This is an interactive online class using the Zoom web platform.
