ONLINE Encounters with the Prose Poem
Wednesdays | 6 weeks | Begins October 25, 2023 | 5:30-8pm MT
Instructor: Paula Turcotte
MEMBER PRICE: $281.25 (with member coupon AWCSM25)
NON-MEMBER PRICE: $375.00
In this 6-week workshop, we’ll examine prose poems and ask questions such as:
how does a prose poem strike a delicate balance? What occurs in the omission of lineation? How do we read prose poems? These and other questions will lead to new discoveries in our own writing practice. We will complete in-class writing exercises that can be extended outside of class time, as well as provide feedback & annotations for one another. Each participant will be asked to bring at least one poem to workshop during the course.
This is an interactive online class using the Zoom web platform.
