Take your writing to the next level. Creative Writing Basics Level Two expands on the skills learned in level one. You will explore earlier concepts deeper through discussion, free fall writing, practical writing exercises and mutual feedback. Students will also delve into new territory and begin learning to workshop with their peers.

This is a class for those who took Creative Writing Basics Level One or who took creative writing in the past and would like to brush up on your skills.

This class takes place ONLINE using Zoom.

Jason Pearce is a Toronto-based fiction writer whose work has appeared in Grain, Knucklehead Noir, Solstice in Purgatory, The Deadlands, Malahat Review, and Flash Fiction Online. Jason is a proud alumnus of the Audible Indigenous Writer’s Circle and Chair of the Ktaqmkuk Mi’kmaw Fluency Project. He holds an M.A. in English Literature and has taught undergraduate poetry, prose and drama. Jason's debut novel is forthcoming from House of Anansi Press, Spring 2027.
