Game Master: Cipher

This game is for 18+. Limited seats available.

AWCS Members: $80

AWCS Non-Members: $100

Vampire the Masquerade is a beginner-friendly, collaborative storytelling game where the success or failure of actions are meted out with the roll of the dice. You play ordinary people cursed with vampirism, struggling to balance survival and morality. This game uses the vampiric condition to explore themes of morality, the humanity, and salvation. Set in the genre of gothic-punk, Vampire the Masquerade focuses on personal and political horror in the modern world where, as a Vampire, you have amazing supernatural powers which come at a great cost.

The Game Master will provide pre-made sheets and loaner dice, all you need to bring is a snack to share (optional – but you make friends faster that way) and a hydrating drink (not blood).

If you have ever wanted to live your gothic vampiric dreams, sign up today.

This game takes place in person at the Alexandra Writers Centre in Calgary.

Cipher is an experienced game master, having run D&D games personally and professionally for five years. In addition to D&D they have experience with a variety of games including Cyberpunk, Changeling the Lost, and Vampire the Masquerade. With a passion for horror, mystery and fantasy, they bring a unique and entertaining approach to gameplay.
