ONLINE Writer-In-Residence Workshop – Poetry: Art In Motion
Travelling different worlds, we will enter the realm that is visual art powered by masters such as Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Jean-Michel Basquiat. We will write poetry sparked by the dreams of these masters. Using visual art as a springboard, we will delve into the world of poetry, with simile as our ship, metaphor as the mast, and imagery as our ocean. We will be sailors, navigating the sea that is poetry with writing exercises and discussion, while also flexing our poetic muscle.
This is an interactive online class using the Zoom web platform.
