This course will prepare you for the act of creating a Long Poem.  This form is classical in many cultures, and in Canada, it reveals a hybrid tectonic in forms of verse novel, lyric sequence and series, a collage/montage.  The Long Poem form offers a depth of practice that invites the novel, with characters, setting, and mythological storytelling.  Break open your sense of what is: creative writing with this experimental form.

This is an interactive online class using the Zoom web platform.
