ONLINE Novel Building
If you are a beginner novelist who has completed part or all of a first draft, this workshop is for you. You’ll send two scenes (2-3 pages each, double-spaced) to classmates and the instructor before the class begins, and we’ll try to determine what the scenes need: stronger characters, perhaps? More details in the setting, a tighter plotline, a stronger opening? Maybe your sentences are weak, or you need a stronger voice. After completing this class, you’ll apply the lessons you learned to other scenes in your story and create a superlative first novel.
This is an interactive workshop using the Zoom web conferencing platform.
