ONLINE Learning from the Masters: Shakespeare
We learn by understanding essence, Hans Gadamer contends, so who better to teach us than the Bard himself? In this workshop, we’ll look at some of Shakespeare’s best-loved scenes and discuss how to strengthen our prose with dramatic techniques. We’ll examine character flaws, dialogue, nemeses, suspense, subplots, irony, imagery, pathos—and anything else that comes to the surface as we lean back and think on such stuff as dreams are made on.
This is an interactive online class using the Zoom web platform.
