IN PERSON Drawing For Writers
When we are small, writing and drawing are inextricably linked, but as we grow up, most of us lose that connection. What are we missing when we stop drawing? And what can we gain by bringing drawing back to our creative practice? Cartoonist and graphic memoirist Teresa Wong leads a hands-on workshop filled with fun drawing exercises designed to unlock your creativity and bring playfulness to your writing life. No artistic background necessary.
This class takes place in person at the Alexandra Writers’ Centre in Calgary.
Teresa Wong is the author of the graphic memoir Dear Scarlet: The Story of My Postpartum Depression, a finalist for The City of Calgary W.O.
