IN PERSON Buoyant Lit Mag Submissions
Float to the Top of the Slush Pile…
Have you always dreamed of seeing your work published in literary magazines alongside your favourite writers? Join me for Buoyant Submissions where we will discuss and develop submission packages to lit mags. Participants will leave the workshop with a personalized cover letter template, a short author bio, and the confidence to navigate the unique guidelines for submitting to literary magazines. This workshop is open to writers of all levels who are interested in submitting work to literary magazines. Content will be accessible to beginners and will be relevant to more experienced writers looking to fine-tune their submission strategy. If you have a piece that you would like to submit please bring it to the workshop, although this is not required to complete the exercises.
This class takes place in person at the Alexandra Writers’ Centre in Calgary.
