When the terms ‘setting and world-building’ come up, most people think of fantasy and science fiction. While that certainly can be the case, well-developed story worlds create the basis for strong fiction (or non-fiction!) of every type.
In this workshop, participants will have a chance to develop the broader worlds of their story and learn how to create places that feel real and lived in, no matter how close to or far from reality their stories are.
This workshop welcomes writers and creators of all levels and backgrounds.
This class takes place IN PERSON at the Workshop in the ArtsHub Ortona (9722 102 St. NW, Edmonton, AB T5K 0X4, click here for the map).
Elisabeth Shenher is a writer from Edmonton. She recently received her MFA from the University of British Columbia.
