We record the play and make it available on YouTube for friends, family and the general public. We also use photos from the camp for promotion by the Calgary Fringe and the Alexandra Writers Centre. If you are not comfortable with this, please check out Fringe Spark as no media is during that camp.

Your youth will need the following skills to take part:

  1. Able to follow basic requests (go there, sit and listen, work on X)
  2. Work well with others (we are a very collaborative programs - so this skill is essential)
  3. Be polite and respectful to other participants, the instructors, and volunteers.

And finally - your youth needs to WANT to be part of this program. We don't have the expertise or time to soothe VERY anxious youth who don't wish to be in the program.

This Year’s Writing Prompt (with which the campers will gain inspiration to write the play)

ROBOT RUMBLE

What weird tasks are the robots designed for? Why are they rumbling? Who is really in charge?

Want to see the play? Come to festival hall August 1st. It’s only a twoonie at the door. Doors at 12:45. Show at 1:00 PM.

*** If registering your child and a guest - Your child must be an AWCS Youth Member, their guest or sibling does not. Please put BOTH campers FULL information on the same form.
