1.01 Introductory Creative Writing

In the Introductory courses, the basics of character, plot, dialogue and setting are introduced through discussion, practical exercises and mutual feedback.

Vicki Chatham came to Calgary from the United Kingdom. She is a qualified teacher of Introductory Creative Writing using the free fall method developed by W.O. Mitchell and further refined by Michael Fay. Vicki has been a member of the Alexandra Writer's Centre for several years, taking full advantage of the courses and workshops offered to further her writing career. She wrote stories for her three children and two grandsons and has had work published in several small magazines, the Calgary Herald and FreeFall. She is currently working on a novel.
