Our History

Look how we've grown. During 2006 Alexandra Writers celebrated 25 years of serving the writing community in Alberta.
So what happened to the green door? Over the years there were changes to the Alexandra Centre - new paint and landscapting. The green became red and the trees and shrubs were chopped down in the name of security. But did you know that the green door and surrounds depicted in our web image was actually a collage of items from several places?

Why a Daisy?
What's behind the green door?
What's one way?
