Sunday, August 1 - Inglewood Sunfest Join AWCS for the Inglewood Sunfest from 11 am - 5 pm. Browse other merchants and enjoy a day out exploring historic Inglewood. AWCS will have a booth set up with readings from our members throughout the day. Location: Along 9th Ave SE, the street will be closed to traffic

Free Fall Fridays - Starting in September join us every other Friday for a couple of hours of free fall writing. A date to get you out of the house, cure your writer's block, keep your pencil moving, your laptop open, and your ideas flowing. Choose a Session: 10 am - 12 pm; 1 - 3 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Members: Free. Non-Members: $10. No drop-ins so please pre-register with the AWCS office. Interested in facilitating these sessions? Contact the AWCS office for details 403.264.4730.

Friday, January 8 Winter Instructors Reading & Registration Night at 7:30 pm, AWCS Classroom #1. Haven't made a decision about which winter class you would like to take? Come out and hear readings from the winter semester instructors, chat with them afterwards to find the right fit, then register for a class.
Friday, January 8 Free Fall Fridays recommence, Join us for some fun and inspiring writing exercises. Meet new people, share experiences and just have an all around good time. Groups can choose to meet weekly or bi-weekly. Three times to choose from: 10 am-12 pm; 1 pm-3 pm; 7 pm-9 pm; Fee: AWCS Members/Tri-Area Residents: Free; Non-Members: $10.
