Bio Profile: Barbara Grant
Term: August 2009 to 2010


Barbara has been a member of the AWCS for two years since her retirement as a school teacher and administrator. She has taught English, Social Studies and English as a Second Language. She has a Master of Education from OISE in Adult Education. Barbara spent many years nurturing others in their language acquisition and writing skills and is now fostering her creativity through the writing of short stories and essays related to her career and her family of origin. She greatly appreciates the encouragement and instruction that she has received at the AWCS and hopes one day to publish the collection of stories now stored in her fugitive files. She would like to thank Pat McAllister for her support in taking on this new role as Librarian
